What has changed?

Elizabeth (Betsy) Morem, CPA, and Mark R. Waller, CPA have joined SAX, a Top 75 national accounting, tax, and advisory firm headquartered in New Jersey and New York, effective January 12, 2026.

Why did this transition occur?

This move was driven by a strategic objective: to expand resources, deepen expertise, and ensure long-term scalability for our clients—while maintaining a personalized, advisory-led service model, especially for our clients in the cannabis space.

Will I still work with Betsy and Mark?

Yes. Client relationships and day-to-day advisory support remain intact. You will continue working directly with Betsy and Mark.

Will my services or scope change?

No immediate changes are required. Your engagement continues as before, aside from administrative updates reflected in your new engagement letter.

No; they will continue to serve clients from their respective home offices in Austin, MN, and Minneapolis, MN, remotely. They will continue to serve Minnesota and the Midwest at large.
